This was a ryokan (Japanese inn) previously operated by a relative. It is currently closed and has become vacant. Management is conducted a few times a year, including air circulation and snow removal from the roof. The building was constructed in three phases: Phase 1 in 1952, Phase 2 in 1979, and Phase 3 (renovation) around 2018. From the outside, there are no visible damages to the walls or eaves. However, inside, there are several areas where the floor has been pushed up and warped due to ground frost heave. There are also distortions in the pillars believed to be caused by frost heave, resulting in several doors that do not close or are difficult to open. A previous inspection by a contractor reported that bedrock buried in the ground seems to be pushing up the floor. The building has been expanded, connecting two wings with a corridor. There are a total of 12 guest rooms (6 + 6), with various layouts ranging from 4.5 tatami mats to 8 tatami mats. Additionally, there is a kitchen, dining room, bath, toilet, staff room, and storage. 凍上が原因と思われる柱の歪みもあり、ドアが閉まらない・開きづらい箇所が数カ所あります。
以前行った業者の調査では、地面に埋まっている岩盤が突きあがって床を押し上げているようだと報告がありました。
建物は増築され、2つの棟が廊下で繋がっています。
客間が6室＋6室の計12室、間取りは4.5畳間～8畳間程度まで各種あります。
その他キッチン、食堂、バス、トイレ、スタッフルーム、物置があります。

一部家財等があります。
