This is my family’s former home, including the house, farmland and woodland. My mother passed away in April 2021 (Reiwa 3) and the property is currently vacant. Siblings return a few times a year to clean and maintain it, but they live elsewhere; if there is interest, we would like someone to make use of the property.

The site includes the main house, two detached annexes, a traditional earthen storehouse (kura), a warehouse and a parking building. The main house is an old building originally built in 1906 (Meiji 39) using aged chestnut timber, but it has been renovated repeatedly and is generally habitable aside from some defects. Around the house are a home vegetable plot, rice paddies, woodland and a bamboo grove that produces bamboo shoots; the fields and paddies are not currently cultivated. If you purchase the residential land and buildings, we will transfer the fields and woodland to you free of charge if you wish.

The access road to the building is narrow and confined, so cars cannot reach the property. I am open to discussing contribution toward costs incurred at the time of transfer, such as registration fees and renovation expenses.
