Kikai Island is located 380 km south of Kagoshima City and 25 km east of Amami Oshima, and is a southern island formed by the uplift of coral reefs. 風呂は五右衛門風呂、トイレは汲み取り式と聞いています。
現在は、使用できる状態ではないと思われます。
敷地には、小さな小屋を上から潰した、未撤去の残骸があります。
また、樹齢60年程で高さ10m以上のガジュマルの巨木があります。
近隣のお宅や、電線に悪影響が出ないように、定期的に大きな木の伐採や、生い茂る草木の枝おろし、草刈りなどの管理が必要です。
(お譲り受けいただける方がいらっしゃらない場合は、残念ではありますが、近々ガジュマルの木を根元から伐採する予定です。)
敷地の境界には塀がありますが、きちんとした境界線の杭があるかは分かりません。
