The gray earthen walls, ranma (transom panels), and the ceiling all give the interior a very atmospheric feel — almost like a high-class ryokan. The south-facing engawa (veranda) faces the street, while the north engawa looks out onto a small garden from which you can also see a kura (traditional storehouse).

There is a sizable lot across the road that can accommodate several cars, so the property could potentially be used as a café or shop.

大きな小上がりを上がって住居スペースに入ると8帖2間続きの和室に続きます。グレーの土壁、欄間や、天井などもとても雰囲気がある作りとなっていて高級旅館に来たかの様。南の縁側は道路に面しておりますが、北の縁側は小さな庭に面しており、庭からは蔵も眺められます。

道路を挟んで結構な台数駐車可能な敷地もあるので、カフェやお店としても使えそう。

普通に使うのは勿体ないので新たな事業を始めたい方、ぜひご検討下さい!
