ウリは種山高原、北上山地のほぼ中央、標高800m級の山々がなだらかに広がる「種山高原」は、かの宮沢賢治も度々訪れ多くの作品にも登場する事で知られています。道の駅「種山ヶ原」やアウトドアが満喫できる「種山高原星座の森」などが整備された観光スポットで、北に早池峰山、西に焼石連峰と北上平野、南東にやさしい稜線が広がる北上山系の見事なパノラマが楽しめます。5月から6月にかけ、群生するレンゲツツジが見頃を迎え、夏にはスターウォッチングなどもおすすめです。

近くで清流釣りも楽しめ、季節には、山菜・キノコ狩りも楽しめます。自然を相手に楽しみたい方は最高でしょう。イマイチなところは、新幹線水沢江刺まで19.4km、水沢駅まで23.5km、イオンタウンまで20km、県立江刺病院まで20.4km、江刺総合支所まで20.3kmと、所要個所まで遠い点です。車があれば全て30分くらいです。

用途としましては、淡水魚の養殖場と管理施設などもよいと思います。敷地の東側に川が流れており、私の家の水上に家がなく水はとても奇麗です。以前そのような問い合わせもありました。実際、うってつけだと思っています。他には農業、酪農です。畜舎もありますし、牧草地もあります。馬と共に暮らしたい方などは最高です。ぜひご検討ください。値下げをしているので、建物、土地の修理、測量直しなどせず引き受けて頂く事が条件です。
