Description

This is a house built by my parents in 1990. In June 2021, both of my parents moved to Tokyo and were living near my house. In the end, they could not return, and the current state is empty with everything inside cleared out. No renovations have been made.

There are three storage sheds on the property, and it is large enough to have a garden. It is located in a place overlooking Mount Zao, and in winter, you can go to the ski resort. It is a 15-20 minute walk to Shiroishi Castle, and it is an area with delicious water. There is a traditional Japanese room in the Shoin style. I would like to pass it on to someone who will take good care of it.

Miyagi Ken

Settling in Miyagi

Miyagi Prefecture, located in the Tohoku region of Japan, offers a unique blend of urban convenience and natural beauty that is appealing to potential immigrants. Known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes, including the serene Matsushima Bay, Miyagi is a vibrant area that balances modern living with traditional Japanese life. Compared to other prefectures like Tokyo or Osaka, where real estate prices can be astronomical, Miyagi boasts more affordable housing options, making it an attractive destination for those looking to buy property. In cities such as Sendai, the prefectural capital, residents benefit from a lower cost of living without sacrificing urban amenities. Housing prices in Miyagi are significantly lower than in major metropolitan areas, with opportunities to purchase spacious homes or apartments at competitive rates, often ranging from 30% to 50% lower than similar properties in Tokyo. Additionally, the prefecture is well-connected with efficient rail systems that provide easy access to Tokyo, enabling residents to enjoy both the tranquility of suburban life and the dynamic offerings of the capital city. The appealing blend of affordability, quality of life, and cultural richness makes Miyagi Ken an excellent choice for those seeking a more relaxed and community-oriented environment while relocating to Japan. Whether it’s the enchanting seasonal landscapes, local festivals, or the hospitable community, Miyagi has much to offer for newcomers looking to immerse themselves in Japanese culture.
