This is land where the owner lived for many years. The house was demolished about five years ago; the owner now lives with his wife’s parents within Fukui City. A farm shed located on the south side of the land is not included in the sale, although the owner visits it about once a week.

The property is in the southwest part of Fukui City and is close to Sabae City and Echizen Town, making it convenient for commuting and shopping. This land was inherited by my wife and is currently owned by her. It is not large, but a residence used to stand here and it was previously rented out. We would appreciate offers from those looking for land to live in Fukui—preferably families—or from builders/developers of spec houses.

The property is located in an urbanized area within Fukui City, with utilities such as water already connected. It is near Momozono Park. The lot fronts on two roads—8 m of frontage onto a 5.0 m-wide road on the west and 8 m of frontage onto a 10.8 m-wide road on the east—making it a bright site. An elementary school is also nearby, so it is recommended for families with children. The shape of the lot is somewhat unusual (see photos).

I visited the site and added the following notes. A local resident said, “It’s not a bad lot. It used to be a sought-after spot.” When I checked on foot, the bus stop was about a 10-second walk, so the location is very convenient for transportation. The nearest mailbox and two beverage vending machines are about a 12-second walk away. Walking 30 m along the side street leads to the service entrance of “Fukuibo,” so some snow-clearing can be expected. 現地確認に行ってきましたので、追記です。近隣住民の方は「悪くない土地。昔は取り合いの場所だった。」とおっしゃっていました。歩いて確認してみると、バス停まで徒歩10秒で交通の便がよい立地でした。また郵便ポストと飲料自販機（2台）まで徒歩12秒の近さです。裏通りを30ｍ歩くと「フクイボウ」の通用口があり、ある程度除雪が期待できます。住宅を建てる場合は裏通り側に玄関・駐車場を配置すれば、土地の形状も活かせそうでした。南へ徒歩5分の場所に広々とした小山谷公園があり、子育てに最適な立地です。また、校区は足羽小学校300ｍ、光陽中学校1.6ｋｍと通学にも便利です。大通りを挟んで向かいの土地に新築の建売住宅が建っていましたので、ある程度需要がある土地だと思われます。
