National Route 241 runs west from the center of Teshikaga Town, and is the "Akan Crossing Road" that runs straight to Lake Akan, with large fields and pastures along the road. From the road, you can see Mount Oakan, Mount Mashu, and Mount Mirao in the distance. The property is a former dairy farmer's land with a unique topography that borders the national highway. There is an old house in the center of the front of the property, but since electricity and water are not connected, it would be good to demolish it and develop a new area. The site is covered with Japanese bamboo grass and is a forest of birch and cherry trees, so if it is cut down appropriately, it will become a good land with open spaces on all sides. Snow fences can be seen along the west side of the road. It is about a 6-minute drive to Mashu Onsen, a roadside station that serves as a base for campers and riders, and about 40 minutes to the shores of Lake Akan.

Hokkaido experiences long, harsh winters with heavy snowfall, which may not be to everyone's liking. However, Hokkaido offers a more affordable housing market compared to major southern cities like Tokyo or Osaka. It's possible to find reasonably priced properties, including traditional houses and modern homes, especially in smaller towns and rural areas.
Hokkaido is celebrated for its stunning natural landscapes. It's a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Hokkaido's cities, such as Sapporo, are known for their high quality of life. The region enjoys clean air, a lower population density, and a slower pace of life compared to the more crowded and bustling cities on the main islands.
