In 1987, I purchased a forest and planted trees. Since then, I have been conducting annual underbrush clearing and biennial thinning and branch pruning. At the time of purchase, I planted 43,310 cypress trees and 650 cedar trees. Currently, 70% of the trees are cypress over 30 years old, 20% are cedar, and 10% are cypress and cedar over 60 years old.
