This is a detached house in Nishiumifuto, Shika-cho, Ishikawa Prefecture. It was affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake in 2024, but the damage to the property was minor because it is a single-story house with solid ground. Since there is a shortage of lodgings in the disaster-stricken areas, we obtained a license to operate as an inn for reconstruction supporters, so we have already obtained a license. Unfortunately, we are not able to do so, so we are considering transferring it as it is. If it is used as an inn, minor renovations will be necessary, but I think it can be operated quickly. Currently, it is not a private lodging with a limited number of operating days, but can be operated 365 days a year. Of course, it can also be used simply as a residence. There is also long-term rental demand due to demolition and construction of temporary housing. It is an old house built about 80 years ago. It is a traditional Nakanoto house in a district that prospered from fishing. The beauty of the beams and ceilings smoked with soot from the hearth would take a tremendous amount of time and effort to get a new one. The fittings are Wajima lacquer, and you can feel the charm in the shoj石川県志賀町西海風戸の戸建住宅です。

It is adjacent to the Important Cultural Property District at the foot of Mt. Utatsu, and many townhouses remain in the surrounding area. The building was originally a temple, and the old main hall retains the original layout, and the training hall and Jizo hall also remain on the premises. As it exceeds 200 m2, care must be taken when changing the use of the building, but it is possible to make use of the large space of the temple. There are many rooms, and each Japanese-style room is in very good condition.

Ishikawa Prefecture, located on the western coast of Honshu, offers a unique blend of cultural richness, natural beauty, and affordable living that appeals to those considering relocating to Japan. Known for its historical cities, such as Kanazawa, Ishikawa is famous for traditional crafts, stunning gardens like Kenrokuen, and delicious seafood, particularly its high-quality sushi. Compared to more populous prefectures such as Tokyo or Osaka, where property prices can be exorbitantly high, Ishikawa presents a more affordable housing market. The average price of a house in Ishikawa is significantly lower, with options for both urban apartments in Kanazawa and rural homes in scenic areas, making it accessible for families and individuals seeking an affordable lifestyle. Additionally, Ishikawa boasts a slower pace of life, cleaner air, and a strong sense of community, which can be appealing to those looking for a more tranquil environment. The local government has also made efforts to attract newcomers, offering incentives and resources for immigrants. With a well-developed public transportation system, excellent healthcare, and educational facilities, Ishikawa combines convenience with quality of life. Its beautiful coastal scenery, rich history, and thriving cultural scene make it an attractive destination for immigrants seeking to experience the best of Japan while enjoying the benefits of a more affordable housing market. This unique combination of affordability and livability helps set Ishikawa apart from other prefectures, making it an excellent choice for both new residents and long-term expatriates.
