Most of the building has been relocated and is over 80 years old. It was built by my grandfather who selected the trees from his mountain, and my father spent over 30 million yen on relocation because he wanted to preserve it. The extension was added about 35 years ago, at the time of relocation. The relocated part is said to be usable for another 100 years. The main structure features thick pillars made of lacquered keyaki wood, lacquered coffered ceilings, and chestnut floorboards, which are rare for a traditional farmhouse.

On the second floor, there is a room of over 50 tatami mats with no ceiling or flooring. Additionally, the eight fusuma (sliding doors) in the Buddhist room have been replaced with handwritten strips that were originally attached to folding screens. These are valuable items from the head priests of Kiyomizu-dera, Ninna-ji, Daikaku-ji, Tofuku-ji, and Kōfuku-ji, as well as from the renowned Kaga Chiyo. The eight ranma (transom) are luxuriously made with twisted paper and lacquered.

The property faces a national road and has no adjacent buildings. It can be utilized for various purposes such as a guesthouse, café, restaurant, or rental classroom. It is located建物のほとんどは移築したもので築80年以上です。祖父が自分の山の木を選定し建てたもので、父がどうしても残したいと、3000万円以上の移築費をかけ移築しました。増築部分は35年くらい前、移築した時のものです。移築部分はあと100年といわず使用可能と言われています。本体は漆塗りのけやきの太い柱、漆塗りの格天井、栗の木の床板等を使ったもので、古民家としては珍しいものです。

2階には天井も床も張っていない50畳以上の部屋もあります。又、仏間の8枚のふすまは、元、屏風に貼ってあった直筆の短冊をふすまに貼り替えたものです。清水寺御法主、仁和寺、大覚寺、東福寺、興福寺管長等、又、加賀千代女史等貴重なものです。8枚のらんまは、こよりで作成し漆を塗った贅沢なものです。

国道に面していて、隣接した建物はありません。民泊、カフェ、料理屋、貸教室等いろいろ活用出来ます。山中グランドホテル（湯快リゾート）、小学校、中学校、体育館からすぐの場所です。2024年3月開通の北陸新幹線、加賀温泉駅より車で約15分、北陸自動車道加賀インターチェンジから車で11分です。
