In 2005, a hot spring was discovered through boring, and the facility opened as a lodging and day-use hot spring in the same year. It is popular for its rare "toroori" (smooth) hot water in Iwate Prefecture. Operating as a homey hotel for about 20 years, it has been loved by locals for its excellent water, but it closed four years ago due to the aging of the management, and it is still ongoing.

The hot spring water temperature is 44.8°C, and it features a free-flowing source with separate outdoor baths for men and women. There is a large hall and 10 private rooms. It is located 30 minutes from Morioka City and 20-30 minutes from places like Koiwai Farm and Shizukuishi Ski Resort. Although it is a cold area, there are several ski resorts nearby.
