Whenever I pass by this building I can’t help but look up. It has large windows that give you a sense of the interior, and some units even use potted plants at the windows to create a charming display. I hope another great tenant will come and add to the town’s atmosphere.

The unit currently for lease is on the 3rd floor. Inside there are large sliding windows and fixed windows, and the space is characterized by excellent sunlight. The view from the windows shows the dignified presence of the shop opposite and the Kamakura sky beyond — it feels very open and freeing.

Imagine what would look nice on that windowsill: for example, a waist-high shelf by the window to display your favorite books or objects. With good sunlight and ventilation, it’s also a great spot for houseplants. Curtains are an option, but if you can create something attractive toward the street, passersby might enjoy it too.

Built-in shelves and other fixtures remain in the space and it will be delivered in its current condition. As it is, the unit would be well suited to a small office for around three people. There is also a shower booth, so it would be convenient for those who surf or go for a

この建物の前を通るときは、必ず見上げてしまうのです。大きな窓があり、なんとなく室内の様子が分かるような気がして。窓辺に観葉植物を置いて素敵に演出している区画もあって、まちを彩るような演出をしてくれるいいテナントさんがまた増えるといいな。そんなことを願いながら。

今回募集しているのは3階の区画です。室内に入ってみると、大きな掃き出し窓とフィックス窓があり、日当たりがいいのが特徴です。窓から見える景色は、目の前の店舗の風格ある様子と、鎌倉の空。とても開放的な気分になれます。

この窓辺になにを置いたら素敵だろうか、と考えてみますが、例えば、窓辺に腰高の棚を置いてそこに好きな本やオブジェをディスプレイする。日当たりがよく風通しもいいので、観葉植物を育てるのもいいと思います。カーテンを付けてもいいのですが、外に向けてなにか素敵な要素を醸し出してもらえたら、道行く人たちも楽しめるのかな、と思います。

室内は造作の棚などが残されており、原状のままでのお引き渡しとします。そのまま活用すると考えると、3名くらいで利用する小規模なオフィスというのがちょうど良さそう。シャワーブースもあるので、サーフィンやランニングをしてから仕事をされたい方にもおすすめです。

飲食店は不可ですが、事務所以外でも物販などの業種も相談可能です。同じ建物の1階にはお洋服屋さんや雑貨屋さんなどが入る賑やかな建物。ぜひこれらのお店と一緒に、まちの景色となってください。

注意点としては、建物にエレベーターがなく、1階から外階段を上がり、2階の扉へ。扉を開けてさらに室内階段を上がって3階区画となる造りということ。重い荷物があるときなどは、少し大変かもしれません。
