A countryside kominka (traditional Japanese house) over 100 years old set in peaceful rice-field scenery. I acquired it last year through the local vacant-house registry. I had planned to renovate it as a vacation home, but due to time and cost constraints I am looking for someone who can make use of it. It is a detached house standing in the middle of rice paddies, about 100 meters from the nearest neighboring houses, so noise is not a concern. The property includes a garden with a pond and an estate grove, making it ideal for someone who wants to live surrounded by nature. There is space for a vegetable garden, and I can introduce you to the original owner of the surrounding rice fields, who said he would be willing to transfer the paddies free of charge to someone who wants to farm them.
