The house has been vacant since my mother passed away two years ago. It was newly built around 1948, making it about 75 years old, but underwent major renovations around 1980. Besides the main house, there is a work shed and parking space of about 70 square meters across the front road, as well as a field of about 400 square meters, which I hope to sell together. ただし、旧台所部分（現物置）は床の劣化があります。大規模改修前居間には囲炉裏があり、現在は天井内に隠れていますがチョウナで削った黒々とした大梁が横たわっています。ライフラインも通っており、年に数回訪れ現状維持を図っていますので、多少の改修でそのまま居住することも可能です。また既存の家電や什器類も必要に応じ譲渡可能です。母屋の他に前面道路向かいに作業小屋兼駐車場約70㎡、他に畑約400㎡があり併せての売却希望です。また、他に現在農家に貸している水田や未耕作の畑・ぶどう園用地なども所有しており、ご希望に併せ別途費用で売却可能です。

自然に恵まれた地域で、清くすんだ空気、夜空に輝く満点の星など見ることができます。越冬のために白鳥も飛来します。赤湯温泉とは別に、車で5分ほどの所にも湯沼温泉があり日常的に疲れた体を癒やすことができます。高畠ワイナリーもあります。また、車で5分以内にコンビニ2店、そこから2～3分でスーパー、薬局、DIYなどがあり日常生活への支障はありません。さらに、新幹線の止まる赤湯駅、高畠駅まで車で15分ほどです。ただし、小学校まで約4km、中学校まで5.5km（スクールバスあり）と遠いのが難点です。 半年或いは1年以内には売却したいと考えています。
