Until a few years ago the property operated as a restaurant, but the business has since closed. The first floor is a commercial space and the second floor is residential. My elderly parents currently live in and manage the property. The first-floor shop area is still used as a kitchen and living space. In a 2018 appraisal the land was valued at approximately ¥5,500,000. The seller’s asking price for the property including the building is ¥4,500,000. However, solar panels were newly installed about two years ago and the seller wishes to sell them together with the property. Property acquired at auction in 2002 (Heisei 14). It was used as an elderly welfare/care facility and has been vacant since then.
