An old wooden house owned by my father used to stand on the site, but it had aged and was damaged by the 2018 typhoon, so it was demolished. The site is currently a vacant lot.

The property is located one street back from National Route 1 in a quiet residential neighborhood with good transport access. It is about a 10-minute bicycle ride to Kawaramachi Station and about a 5-minute walk to a convenience store. Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station is one stop away by train. The location is convenient for transport routes, being close to the historic Tokaido route, National Routes 1 and 23, and the Tōmeihan Expressway. The river embankment is a 2–3 minute walk, making it very convenient for dog walks and jogging. The land itself is very small at 5 tsubo (approximately 16.5 m²), so it would be best used according to your intended purpose.

For example, building a short-term rental house or an apartment could work, as Yokkaichi has many factories and often houses short-term assignees, so it could be used as an income-producing rental property. The zoning is commercial, so opening a shop is also possible. 国道1号線からひとつ住宅街に入ったところにあり、交通の便も良いながら、静かな住宅街で、最寄駅の川原町駅までは自転車で10分程度、コンビニまでは5分。近鉄四日市駅まで電車で1駅です。旧東海道沿いの江戸時代からある東海道から国道1号、23号線 東名阪と交通の便に最適です。川のある土手まで徒歩2,3分で、愛犬のお散歩、ジョギング等にも大変便利です。土地自体は5坪と大変狭いため、用途に応じて使われると良いかと思います。

例えば短期滞在者向けの借家、もしくはアパートなどを建てると、四日市市は工場が多く短期赴任者も住まわれるため、賃貸の収益物件として使えるかもしれません。区域事態が商業地域なので、店舗を構えることも可能です。ただ、駐車場の確保が別途必要なため、隠れ家的なお店になるかと思いますが。。あとは近隣にコインパーキングなどもないため、駐車場にすると近隣の住人の方や来訪者がこぞって使ってくれるかと思います。名古屋市へも通勤できるベッドタウンとして、場所自体はそこそこで、悪くないと思いますので、ぜひ有効活用して頂きたいです。
