It takes 1 hour and 15 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, and about 30 minutes by bus from there. The Naeba Prince Hotel is within walking distance, making it ideal for winter sports in the winter and skiing at "Mitsumata" and "Kagura" until mid-May in spring. 東京から新幹線で越後湯沢駅まで1時間15分　越後湯沢駅からバスで約30分です。車ですと関東自動車道「湯沢IC」が最寄りです。別荘地ですが永住されている方もいます。徒歩圏に苗場プリンスホテルがありますので、冬はウインタースポーツ、春は「みつまた」「かぐら」で5月中旬までスキーが楽しめます。夏は涼しく避暑地としても最適です。秋は山菜採り、壮大な紅葉が楽しめます。山間の開けた場所であり、景観が素晴らしいです。登山の拠点にされてもよいかもしれません。周囲には温泉が沢山あります。一番近い温泉は徒歩5分の所に「雪ささの湯」があります。越後湯沢駅前にも多数の温泉があります。

建物は西武プロパティーズの管理が行き届いていて、平成23年に大規模修繕工事（屋上、外壁、ベランダ防水等の改修）が実施され、他の場所も定期的に修繕されています。有人の管理事務室があり、生活の相談ができます。リフォーム会社が管理室の隣にあり、不具合があればすぐに対応してくれます。メインエントランスホール階に設置されている指定されたスキーロッカーの設備を無償で専用使用することができます。コインランドリー完備です。部屋に洗濯機を置く必要はありません。駐車場は使用料無料です。
