A refreshing apartment on the way from Zushi Station to the sea. The lot on the corner on the opposite side of the street was an interesting renovation material. First of all, the location is good. There are many other windows, and the building beyond the window is also a good distance, so there is a sense of openness. In addition, I don't know why, but the ceilings in the living room and the Japanese-style room are high. There is a step between the dining room and the living room, and the floor is about 35 cm lower. Thanks to this, the living room and Japanese-style room are 2.85m in height! I think it's interesting to have this slightly different space. If you actually look at it in detail, the height of the window is the general height and the height above it is high, so I imagine that this section is the only one in a rare state, but I would like to actively use this feature as a renovation material. 逗子駅から海へ向かう道の途中にある爽やかなマンション。通りとは逆側の角にある区画はなんだか面白みのある改装素材でした。まず位置が良いのです。通りとは反対向きの角部屋にあり、窓の向こうには松の木VIEW。海風を受けてやや斜めになっている松の木は海街風情があります。他にも窓が多く、窓の向こうの建物も程よい距離があるので開放感があります。さらに、どうしてなのか分からないのですが、リビングと和室の天井が高いのです。ダイニングとリビングの間に段差があり、35センチほど下がった位置に床がある。おかげで、リビングと和室は天高2.85m!このちょっとした異空間な感じが面白いと思うのです。実際に細かくみていくと窓の高さは一般的な高さでそこから上が高いので、この区画だけがめずらしい状態なのかなと想像しますが、この特徴は改装素材として積極的に使いこなしてみたい。例えば思い切って壁に絵を描いてみてはどうだろうか。好きな作家さんに描いてもらうもよし、自分たちで描くもよし。または壁一面を本棚にして、映画で見るようなハシゴがスライドして高い位置の本を取るようにしてみてはどうだろうか。また照明や植栽の雰囲気も天井が高いことで、できることが増えそう。こうしたちょっとサイズ感がある空間であれば、床置きや天井から吊るやや大型の照明であっても似合う空間ができるかもしれません。名作であるイサムノグチのAKARIシリーズやフランクロイドライトのTALIESIN2など、いつか置いてみたかった照明を置くための空間づくりをコンセプトにリノベーションを計画しても良いかもしれませんね。マンションの印象としては海沿いの派手さはなく、静かで大人っぽい雰囲気が似合う低層マンションですから、落ち着いた内装に仕上がると素敵なんじゃないかなって思います。
