This used to be a pottery factory. The spacious site of 1362.01 m2 includes a workshop with living space, a garden, and a separate house. First, let me introduce the workshop with living space. The high ceiling and impressive beams of the earthen floor (about 136 m2!) are the centerpieces of the workshop (former potter's wheel? painting room?). The living space is built on a higher level next to the former factory. The main house has two Western-style rooms, two Japanese-style rooms, a dining kitchen, a bathroom, and a toilet (there are two, but one is old and unusable). You can get a glimpse of the attention to detail of the previous occupants, such as the Japanese-style miniature garden next to the 9-tatami Western-style room. Next is the garden. There used to be various plants growing here, but most of them have now been cut down. You can plant your favorite plants and make a garden, or cultivate the land and make a vegetable patch.

Nakaoyama is a popular area in Hasami Town. There are about 20 potteries and trading companies in the area, and many people visit the area to enjoy visiting the potteries even on weekdays. Pottery festivals are held in the spring and fall, making it a great location for showcasing works. The property currently available for rent is being used by the elderly couple who own it, but if someone requests it, they will decide on the space to rent after considering the number of people using it and the size of the space. In addition to the large space that we are mainly introducing, there is also an atelier (with a potter's wheel and a small electric kiln!) that was used by the couple's daughter, and if you would like a smaller space, this is also available upon request. The couple who own it are very experienced and have been involved in the pottery industry for many years, so they will be happy to give you advice on pottery making techniques.

It is located in an ideal area for doing business, close to Hasami Town's popular spot "Nishinohara" and the former Central Elementary School auditorium, a cultural asset. The first floor is the factory area, office, and separate toilets for men and women. Many gas kilns and pottery tools remain, and they will be given to those who need them. The second floor has a product storage area, a tatami-floored rest area, a reception room, a kitchen, and a lift to lift and lower products. As for how to use it, how about an antique or second-hand furniture store? There is also a lift connecting the first and second floors, so it is easy to lift and lower products. It is a spacious space, so it would be interesting to share it with several people.

This storefront, located right in front of the Enoshima Electric Railway's Koshigoe Station, is an old house of unknown construction date, probably built around 1940. Looking at it from the front, you might wonder if it's really been built nearly 80 years ago, but the exterior and interior still retain the feel of an old house.

Japan is an enticing destination for those looking to immigrate and start a new life. It is a country that seamlessly blends rich tradition with cutting-edge modernity. One of the key factors that make Japan so attractive to prospective immigrants is the housing availability. While Japan's bustling metropolises like Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto offer a wide range of housing options, from modern apartments to traditional machiya, the country also faces a unique issue: a surplus of vacant houses, especially in rural areas. This provides an intriguing opportunity for immigrants to potentially acquire properties at reasonable prices, often at a fraction of what one might pay in major cities.
Japan's real estate market is diverse and can cater to various budgets. While cities like Tokyo tend to be on the higher end of the spectrum, there are still affordable options to be found in the suburbs and smaller towns. This inclusivity in housing costs allows immigrants to select a location that suits their financial circumstances.
