The Kushiro River and the Kobetsu River flow through the city. The Sakuragaoka area, which is located further south of the Kabetsu River that flows to the south, is a suburban residential area with Kobetsu Shrine and Sakuragaoka Forest Park, as well as hot spring guesthouses and a stopover hot spring "Kame-no-yu". The property is located about 450 meters from Route 53, which leads from Kushiro City to the center of the town. It is located at the back of an old subdivision with a hot spring right where the forest where Ezo squirrels live on the north side, and there is a hot spring guesthouse 100 meters away.
