For sale: hot spring source (53°C, 1200 meters underground)
One hot spring source
Hot spring water was found 1200 meters underground. It was excavated in 1989 and is still available.
The information is a little old, as of February 2022, but the hot spring number (Taishima 42) is currently at 53.4°C, with a flow rate of 170 liters/minute, and is being investigated by the Hot Spring Association. The permitted amount is 150 liters/minute.
A typical household bath is about 300 liters, so this flow rate is enough to fill a household bath in 2 minutes.
If the source temperature is 53°C, I think that even if the temperature drops along the way, a hot spring inn with free-flowing water can still operate.
For reference, this resort was a resort for a certain listed company. Although the management was good, the building has not been able to withstand deterioration over time and there are signs of wear and tear in various places, so it is basically assumed that it will be demolished. I think it is possible to use it, but please consider it at the buyer's own risk.
My own opinion
I'd like to see a campground for single people combined with a hot spring facility. There are places all over the源泉(53℃ 地下1200メートル)売ります

Living here, you can enjoy stunning views of Mount Fuji, beautiful beaches along the Pacific Ocean, and lush tea plantations, providing ample opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, surfing, and sightseeing. The prefecture is also home to vibrant local culture, delicious cuisine, notably its fresh seafood and world-renowned green tea, as well as traditional arts and crafts. Finding affordable housing in Shizuoka Ken is generally more manageable compared to densely populated regions like Tokyo and its surrounding areas. Prices for properties and rentals are significantly lower, with options ranging from traditional Japanese homes to modern apartments, particularly in smaller cities like Hamamatsu and Numazu.
