Quality building in a quiet environment. It was a house that overturned the image of a newly built property for sale. Solid wood, natural stone, plastered interior walls, and meticulously craftsmen fittings set it apart from existing homes. The exterior is made of black and evenly baked Tenryu yakisugi paneling, solid wood eaves peeking out, and the round windows on the second floor seem to be Japanese-style custom architecture. The interior is a solid flooring material with a unique carving called a naguri floor. The natural stone and plastered walls used in the living room have an atmosphere like an inn.

Today's stage is about a 19-minute walk from Kamakura Station. After passing through Komachi-dori, we bowed to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine before entering. The fact that the walk passes through the grounds of Hachimangu Shrine is very Kamakura-like. The jet black exterior walls exude a mature look, with exposed natural wood eaves, and the exterior walls are made of highly durable charred cedar boards. The appearance has a deep texture! It raises expectations for the interior. The living room on the second floor is easy to use as the dining room and living room are clearly separated.

Just a 10-minute walk from Kamakura Station, the property we are introducing today is an old house that has aged alongside the history of Kamakura for nearly 100 years.

It's difficult to express the Japaneseness in concrete terms, isn't it? However, when it comes to each individual house, I think one of the points that makes us feel "Japanese" is that we can feel the history of the building from the atmosphere that is exuded from the exterior and structure of the building. It is because of the history that we feel a nostalgic warmth, like our grandparents' house, and it makes us feel at ease. That's when we came across this house. The interior has been renovated while the building as a whole has retained its history. In other words, it is a space that allows new people to live while retaining its "Japaneseness". What I particularly love is the approach from the entrance to the veranda. There is a tatami room right in front of you, and the atmosphere is excellent. The garden that can be seen from the veranda makes me imagine enjoying it in all four seasons. Even I, who was born in Japan, get excited about this property. I think people who come to visit from overseas will be even more pleased. This is also a place about 11 minutes walk from the famous Gokurakuji Station, which has a great atmosphere. Moreover, there are few places to stay near Goku日本らしさって、具体的に表現するのって難しいですよね。

It's more than just an old house or a one-story house, it's a rundown house. (Excuse me.) There are holes in the walls, the windows are broken, it's exposed to the wind and rain, the floor is hollow, and ivy is growing on the roof like a wig (lol). I'm surprised it's still standing! In a way, it's interesting! There are three one-story houses lined up in this corner, and this place suddenly feels like a developing country. However, the one-story house next door, which is probably about the same age as me, has a very cute eye-catching light blue exterior, and if we could make it look like this, it would make a fun townscape! The lot is 122.8 square meters, and even excluding the 2m-wide corridor, it's a decent size. It can be rebuilt, so if necessary, it could be rebuilt as a one-story house. (Of course, it can be a two-story house!) It's a Type 1 residential area, so its uses are relatively flexible. It's just a little over 20 minutes on foot from Kamakura Station, heading towards Zushi along the prefectural road, just before the Kotsubo Tunnel. The house is 20m above sea level, and the JR line is nearby, so there is some noise, and unfortunately cars cannot enter the site, but th古民家とか平屋とか、もはやそういう響きのものを超え、ボロ屋でございます。

It's been a while since I last visited! A tasteful old house in a typical Kamakura location. I love these kinds of places. It's located in a different world at the very back, surrounded by lush greenery. The surroundings are quiet, and the only sounds you can hear are the chirps of birds and the murmur of a stream. The surrounding houses are also elegantly built, and the neighbors are busy pruning their plants. A beloved town is one in which people become part of the scenery. The sight of residents enjoying life outdoors can be said to be a sign of the town's status. The layout is also interesting. It looks so hard to use! The entrance is narrow, and the bathroom beyond it has no dressing room. Renovation is a given for a house with a teenage girl. Where will they eat? If you trace the layout, you can imagine a chabudai table in a 4.5 tatami Japanese-style room. Or will they use the 8 tatami dining room as a dining area? Either way, it's too narrow or too wide, so the balance is off. And the position of the stairs! Go through the service room to the second floor. The layout is like a maze. Renovation is likely to be necessary, but the exterior is a tasteful Sukiya-style design tha久しぶりにでました!
