This is my parents’ former home. Both parents moved into nursing homes and the house has been vacant since March 2023. I have been returning almost every month to ventilate and clean the property. In April 2024 a clearance company removed household goods and items. Both parents have since passed away; as the heir I live in Tokyo and do not plan to live in this house. I registered it on this site hoping to pass it on to someone who will live here.

A cadastral survey has been completed, so the land boundaries are clear. The property faces the front road (old national route) with an approximate frontage of 20 meters. There is an old garage and an open space, allowing parking for two cars. Because the lot is large there is ample space for snow dumping. The west side of the land is lower than the house-site area, which is a minor disadvantage, but it does make snow dumping easier. There is also sufficient level land at road grade where a newly built house could be constructed. The bus stop is a 30-second walk away, Gosan'nen Station is about 5 km, and Yokote Station is a 15-minute drive.

Most of the house was built in 1967 (Showa 42); the older portion was partially demolished and an 両親が住んでいた実家です。両親二人とも老人ホームに入り、令和5年3月から空き家となりました。その後、ほぼ毎月帰省して換気・掃除をしてきました。令和6年4月に片付け業者により家財・物品撤去済みです。両親とも他界し、相続人である私は東京都に住んでいるため、この実家に住む予定がありません。どなたか住んでいただける方にお譲りしたいと思い、こちらのサイトに登録しました。

地籍調査済みのため土地境界が明確となっています。前面道路（旧国道）に間口約20ｍで接道しています。古い車庫と空きスペースとで計2台分の駐車が可能です。また、土地が広いため雪捨て場が十分にあります。土地の西側は家の敷地部分より低くなっている点がイマイチですが、雪捨てしやすいとも言えます。道路と等高の敷地部分に新築家屋の建設も十分可能な広さです。バス停まで徒歩30秒、後三年駅まで5km、横手駅まで車で15分です。

昭和42年新築の家屋の大部分を取り壊して昭和57年に増築しました。増築部分だけで4LDKと物置室（2部屋）あります。リビングの壁の一部に穴が空いています（補修可能です）。キッチンの給水栓を令和6年1月に交換しており、キッチン全体として一応使えますが、汚れが目立つためリフォームした方がいいかもしれません。家全体的に壁紙が劣化しています。寝室の畳表をはがして白いシートを敷いています。昭和42年建築部分の2階の一箇所に雨漏り跡がありますが、他への拡がりは見当たりません。この古い建築部分のみ解体（減築）すると駐車場や雪捨て場の増加になります。土地の奥側が周囲の畑より高いため擁壁設置です。ライフラインは、電気、上水道、浄化槽（汲み取り）・洋式トイレ、プロパンガスです。
