The property is located in Kamifurano Town, close to Furano and Biei in Hokkaido, and has long been cherished as the only local hall where many people can gather for weddings, meetings and banquets. The business began in 1956 (Showa 31) as a catering service. As demand for wedding receptions increased, the portion now known as the “Old Hall” was built in 1976 (Showa 51) to accommodate wedding banquets, and the “New Hall” was added in 1997 (Heisei 9), bringing the building to its current form.

The building consists of the Old Hall (two-story wooden building built in 1976) and the New Hall (two-story steel-frame building built in 1997). The two structures are connected by a first-floor lobby and are registered as a single building. The total floor area is 2,023.6 m². The first-floor main banquet hall seats approximately 300 people and was mainly used for wedding receptions; the second-floor medium banquet hall seats approximately 150 people and was mainly used for various meetings. There are also small banquet rooms, Japanese-style rooms, dressing rooms and waiting rooms, and at peak times the facility could accommodate up to about 700 people. The kitchens and supporting equipment c物件は北海道の富良野や美瑛にほど近い、上富良野町にあり、結婚式や会合、宴会など地元で唯一、多くの人が集まれる会館として長く愛されてきました。昭和31年に仕出し屋として創業し、その後結婚式の需要が高まってきたことから、昭和51年に本物件の「旧館」にあたる部分を建築、結婚披露宴を執り行えるようにしたのち、平成9年に「新館」部分を増築して今の姿になっています。

建物は昭和51年建築 木造2階建の「旧館」と、平成9年建築 鉄骨造2階建の「新館」で構成されておりますが、2棟は1階のロビーで繋がっていて、建物登記上は1棟の建物となっています。延床面積は2023.6㎡です。1階の「大宴会場」は約300名収容で主に結婚披露宴に、2階の「中宴会場」は約150名収容で主に各種会合に利用されてきました。その他に、小宴会場や和室、着付け室、控室など様々な部屋があり、ピーク時には一度に700名もの収容を誇ったこともあります。それに対応できる厨房と設備もそのまま残っています。

令和2年6月に閉館したあと、屋根の防水シートの劣化が原因と思われる雨水侵入がありました。現在は応急処置をし、天井ボードも貼替えてありますが、屋上防水の施工時期と考えられます。また、冷暖房設備は設置から相当年数が経過しているので、点検及び状況によっては取替えが必要な箇所があるかもしれません。
