This house, which is about a 5-minute walk from Yuri High School and Uchietsu Nursery School in Kawaguchi, Yuri Honjo City, is a sturdy Sukiya-style building that is hard to believe is over 40 years old. At that time, the local DAN architectural design office and Kentomo Ito were in charge of the construction, and the origami house was painstakingly built, and when you enter the entrance, you can still feel the apology and sorrow that can be seen in Sukiya at that time.
The owner was a teacher at the time, and now his eldest son lives there due to his workplace, but since his home is in Sendai City, he has received a request to hand it over to someone who will use it as it is. The location is a quiet residential area about 60 meters west of National Route 105, and there is also a funeral center "Niji no Horu Yuri" across the street, and part of the land is currently rented out as a parking lot.

由利本荘市川口の県立由利高校・内越保育園まで徒歩約5分にあるこの住宅は、築40年過ぎとは思えないがっしりとした数寄屋風建築である。当時、地元のDAN建築設計事務所と、工事は伊藤建友が担当して丹精込めて造られた折り紙付きの住宅で、玄関に入ると、今なお当時の数寄屋に見られる詫び寂びが伝わる感性豊かな造りである。
この住宅は当時お施主様が教員をされ、現在はご長男がお勤め先の関係によりお住まいになっていたが、ご自宅が仙台市にあることから、このまま活用してくれる方にお譲りしたいとのご依頼を受けている。場所は国道105号線と並行して西に60mほど入った静かな住宅街で、向かい側には葬祭センター「虹のホールゆり」もあり、現在、土地の一部を駐車場としてお貸ししている。
利活用としては住宅・二世帯住宅のほか、和食のお食事処・蕎麦屋などの店舗にも適する建物と想定される。
