Description

This property is located at the entrance of Tenryu Ward, near Kashimabashi, along the clear stream of Atakogawa, 7 km from the prefectural road. It is an old folk house that was originally thatched, built about 3 meters above the prefectural road. It has been lived in until recently, and the bath, kitchen, and entrance area have been renovated and can be used as is. Although it is a picturesque old folk house that is becoming rare, it is said to be about 100 years old, and there are some distortions in the structural framework, with some rain stains visible on the ceiling, and repairs are desirable around the tatami floor. The toilet is currently a pit toilet, but there is a municipal sewer connection available. In addition to the residential land where the building stands, there is a parking lot for 3 cars along the prefectural road, and vehicles can access right up to the front of the building. It is in a great location overlooking the clear stream of Atakogawa. It takes less than 10 minutes by car to Kashimabashi, providing excellent access to various areas of Hamamatsu City, making it suitable for either permanent residence after retirement or weekend country living.

Settling in Japan

Japan is an enticing destination for those looking to immigrate and start a new life. It is a country that seamlessly blends rich tradition with cutting-edge modernity. One of the key factors that make Japan so attractive to prospective immigrants is the housing availability. While Japan's bustling metropolises like Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto offer a wide range of housing options, from modern apartments to traditional machiya, the country also faces a unique issue: a surplus of vacant houses, especially in rural areas. This provides an intriguing opportunity for immigrants to potentially acquire properties at reasonable prices, often at a fraction of what one might pay in major cities.

Japan's real estate market is diverse and can cater to various budgets. While cities like Tokyo tend to be on the higher end of the spectrum, there are still affordable options to be found in the suburbs and smaller towns. This inclusivity in housing costs allows immigrants to select a location that suits their financial circumstances.
