It's been a while since I last visited! A tasteful old house in a typical Kamakura location. I love these kinds of places. It's located in a different world at the very back, surrounded by lush greenery. The surroundings are quiet, and the only sounds you can hear are the chirps of birds and the murmur of a stream. The surrounding houses are also elegantly built, and the neighbors are busy pruning their plants. A beloved town is one in which people become part of the scenery. The sight of residents enjoying life outdoors can be said to be a sign of the town's status. The layout is also interesting. It looks so hard to use! The entrance is narrow, and the bathroom beyond it has no dressing room. Renovation is a given for a house with a teenage girl. Where will they eat? If you trace the layout, you can imagine a chabudai table in a 4.5 tatami Japanese-style room. Or will they use the 8 tatami dining room as a dining area? Either way, it's too narrow or too wide, so the balance is off. And the position of the stairs! Go through the service room to the second floor. The layout is like a maze. Renovation is likely to be necessary, but the exterior is a tasteful Sukiya-style design tha久しぶりにでました!

Get off at Shichirigahama Station, enjoy the world's best breakfast of ricotta pancakes, then have coffee time at Ron Herman. While you wait, relax on the beach. That's what life in Kamakura would be like! The Prince Hotel, surrounded by a large green space, is the gateway to Shichirigahama, and the town itself has a refined appearance. Near the mountain behind the Prince Hotel, there is a country house with horizontal boards that is perfect for this location. Behind the house, there is a vast slope and two huts. The current owner seems to have kept small animals, and although it is a corner of the refined appearance, it lives a rustic life. As for the inside of the house, the public spaces such as the corridors, stairs, and living/dining/kitchen area are well-equipped, and it feels like a hotel. There are also plenty of private rooms, so they can be set up as guest rooms. The attic room with a cute triangular ceiling is perfect for putting a billiard table in... and your imagination will run wild. If all the walls on the first floor were removed and a large one-room apartment were created, it could be used for private lodgings or as a corporate retreat and office.

An 80-year-old traditional house in Horiuchi, Hayama. This place had been vacant for many years, but Enjoy Works renovated it into a community facility where local residents can gather. "Hirano Residence Hayama". The concept is a family home where you can enjoy Japanese life. In the large garden in front of the one-story traditional house, local residents grow herbs and cultivate Hayama killifish in the pond. In between farm work, you can take a break on the veranda and communicate with each other. You can truly experience traditional Japanese life.

As the name suggests, "Zushi Seaside Heights" is a retro apartment building located along Zushi Coast. Although it is an old building, the interior has been beautifully renovated and the facilities are new, so there is no inconvenience. It is on the 5th floor, so the view is not bad. The sea is not right in front of the room, but if you turn to the left, you will see the sea. You can see the condition of the waves. If you have a room facing the sea, the sea will directly hit the window on windy days, making maintenance a hassle, but this room faces sideways and has a balcony, so it is easier. However, the sea breeze is unavoidable. If you go through the path to the left of the entrance, you will reach R134. Every morning and evening, you can take a walk to the sea. Zushi Coast is a garden. What can I say? It's good that it is not boldly luxurious. The size is 1LDK. It is perfect for a second home, and it is not the latest resort apartment, but this retro feel. It is also recommended for couples who want to enjoy a relaxing life by the sea after retirement. I would be so proud if my grandparents' house was here. The house is made entirely of cypress and was built by a master carpenter. It is a home unlike any other, with a Japanese-style room for a pottery studio and tea ceremony room, a water room, a soundproof room, a storeroom, and a terrace. With the source of the Namegawa River as a backdrop, the owner's passion for pottery, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, piano, and more is apparent.

Japan is an enticing destination for those looking to immigrate and start a new life. It is a country that seamlessly blends rich tradition with cutting-edge modernity. One of the key factors that make Japan so attractive to prospective immigrants is the housing availability. While Japan's bustling metropolises like Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto offer a wide range of housing options, from modern apartments to traditional machiya, the country also faces a unique issue: a surplus of vacant houses, especially in rural areas. This provides an intriguing opportunity for immigrants to potentially acquire properties at reasonable prices, often at a fraction of what one might pay in major cities.
Japan's real estate market is diverse and can cater to various budgets. While cities like Tokyo tend to be on the higher end of the spectrum, there are still affordable options to be found in the suburbs and smaller towns. This inclusivity in housing costs allows immigrants to select a location that suits their financial circumstances.
